Product Information
The NO2 Gas Module combines an electrochemical NO2 sensor with an integrated ozone filter and Aeroqual’s patented automatic baseline correction (ABC) design, delivering near-reference performance for ambient nitrogen dioxide monitoring on the AQS 1 and AQM 65 platforms without the ozone cross-interference that affects simpler NO2 sensors.
Product Features
| Spec | Value |

Product Benefits
- Integrated ozone filter removes the O3 cross-interference that typically requires a second reference instrument.
- Field-calibratable like a regulatory chemiluminescence NO2 analyzer, fully traceable to NIST primary standards.
- Compatible with Aeroqual’s MOMA remote calibration procedure.
Performance & Field Data
- Co-located with a regulatory station in Riverside, CA (April 2022): R² = 0.96, mean absolute error = 1.3 ppb.
- EU Guide to Demonstration of Equivalence total measurement uncertainty of 5.8% at a 100 ppb hourly limit value, within the 15% regulatory-grade threshold (Directive 2008/50/EC).
- Recommended field calibration interval of 1–3 months.
Typical Applications
- Regulatory and near-reference ambient NO2 monitoring.
- Fenceline monitoring near combustion and industrial NOx sources.
