Product Information
The H2S Gas Module uses Aeroqual’s patented automatic baseline correction (ABC) design to deliver near-reference performance for ambient hydrogen sulfide monitoring on the AQS 1 and AQM 65 platforms. An advanced electrochemical H2S sensor is paired with a sample/zero cycling routine: one flow path samples ambient air while the other passes through a proprietary scrubber to establish a continuously refreshed baseline, largely eliminating the drift that limits simpler electrochemical designs.
Product Features

Product Benefits
- Patented ABC sample/zero cycling actively corrects the sensor baseline roughly once per minute, keeping drift low without manual intervention.
- Field-calibratable with standard reference gases and equipment, with full traceability to NIST primary standards.
- Six-point gas testing over 0–1,600 ppb demonstrated strong linearity (R² = 0.99).
Performance & Field Data
- Recommended field calibration interval of 1–3 months based on low observed drift.
- Documented cross-sensitivity data available for CO, NO2, O3, SO2, and ethylene so responses can be correctly interpreted in mixed-gas environments.
Typical Applications
- Fenceline monitoring near sewage treatment, waste disposal, and oil & gas facilities.
- Ambient H2S compliance monitoring against jurisdictional exposure standards.
