What noise monitoring equipment can I rent?
Specto rents field-ready noise monitoring systems built around the Svantek SV 307A, integration configurations using the SV 303 terminal, and the portable SV 971A sound level meter. Power, mounting, connectivity, software and project reporting are selected for the rental.
Which noise monitor should I choose?
The SV 307A is the primary connected outdoor monitoring station. The SV 303 adds noise measurement to a compatible host system such as the SV 803. The SV 971A is the handheld option for attended surveys and spot measurements.
Can I rent the SV 303 as a standalone noise system?
The SV 303 is an integration terminal, not a complete standalone project system. Specto configures the required host, power, communications and software. A common rental configuration combines an SV 303 with an SV 803 vibration monitor.

Can I combine noise and vibration monitoring?
Yes. An SV 303 can add noise measurement to the SV 803 vibration system. Specto configures the combined system and its data workflow around the project. Separate noise and vibration stations can also be used where different monitoring positions are needed.
Can I listen to or review captured audio?
Audio capture and live listening can be included in supported configurations. Tell us the event-review needs of the project so the relevant instrument functions and SvanNET services can be included. Audio and analysis functions depend on the selected equipment and licences.
Can SvanNET help identify noise sources with AI?
Optional AI noise-source recognition can help classify captured audio events where enabled. It provides context for event review alongside measured sound levels; it should not be treated as automatic proof of the source or of compliance.

Does every noise rental transmit data to the cloud?
The SV 307A is a connected station, and an SV 303 uses the selected host and communications setup. The SV 971A uses Bluetooth or USB with its configured analysis and reporting workflow. Specto confirms the data transfer method for each rental.
Can I rent equipment for NYC construction noise requirements?
Specto can help configure noise monitoring equipment around your noise mitigation plan and project specification. Required limits, measurement locations, operating periods and reporting remain project-specific. Equipment selection alone does not establish compliance.
