Svantek SV 258 PRO Vibration and Noise Monitoring Station

Product Information

The SV258 PRO from Specto Technology provide a professional solution for our customers who require both triaxial velocity and acceleration measured in an automated wireless monitoring station.

With dual-channel capability, the SV258 PRO simultaneously measures vibration velocity and acceleration, enabling comprehensive human vibration exposure analysis in buildings. Noise monitoring can also be integrated for a complete environmental assessment.

For all other applications we recommend our latest vibration monitor, the Svantek 803.

PRODUCT FEATURES:

  • All-in-One Monitoring – Simultaneously measures vibration velocity, acceleration, and noise for complete building and environmental monitoring.
  • Built-In Building Vibration Standards – Preloaded with DIN 4150-3 and BS 7385-2, enabling accurate measurements using Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) and Dominant Frequency methods.
  • Custom User Curves – Create your own criterion curves using FFT or 1/3 octave analysis (RMS, PEAK, or MAX) when local standards aren’t available.
  • Online Data Access – Built-in GSM modem transmits data to SvanNET, allowing real-time and historical data access, plus automatic report generation.
  • Alarms & Event Notifications – Receive SMS, email, visual, and audio alerts for PPV or LEQ triggers. Configurable events capture peak PPV values and dominant frequencies, automatically saved in memory.
  • Human Vibration Analysis – Measures vibration acceleration with built-in filters (ISO 2631-1, ISO 2631-2, DIN 4150-2) and 1/3 octave spectrum to assess human exposure to vibrations.
  • Class 1 Noise Monitoring – A dedicated fourth channel measures sound levels (LEQ, MAX, MIN, PEAK) per IEC 61672 Class 1, recorded alongside vibration data for easy correlation.
  • Wave Recording & Analysis – Included WAV analysis software lets you identify peaks and perform FFT or 1/3 octave post-processing without extra cost.
  • Built-in GSM Modem – Automatically sends measurement data to the SvanNET server, giving users instant access to real-time and historical data with easy report generation.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Construction sites and excavation equipment
  • Rail and road traffic (most common source)
  • Industrial machinery induced vibrations
  • Mechanical equipment
  • Low-frequency, airborne pressure waves emitted by heavy vehicles, aircraft mechanical equipment, or blasting
