WHAT THE DATA GIVES YOU
Dust monitoring data that is easier to manage
Turn particulate data into useful project information, with remote visibility, alerts and reporting configured around your needs.
Remote visibility
Review dust levels, weather and system status from your project dashboard.
Project alerts
Configure SMS and email notifications around project thresholds and instrument health.
Automated reporting
Generate and distribute daily PDF reports with less manual downloading and formatting.
Source context
Use wind data, pollution plots and OneView site-contribution tools where selected for the project.
A rental experience built around real project schedules
We manage rentals like projects, not transactions — with hands-on support from quote through return.
Same-day quotes
Most standard rental requests are quoted the same business day.
Field-ready preparation
Systems are assembled, configured and tested before shipment, with calibration completed or verified where applicable.
Next-day mobilization
Next-day shipment or local courier delivery is available for most projects.
Project setup & onboarding
One hour of online project setup and onboarding is included per project. Dashboards, alerts and reporting are configured where supported.
Flexible rental terms
Short- and long-term options. Monthly rentals cover a full calendar month, not a 28-day cycle. Rental pauses of up to one month are available by agreement.

Questions about dust and particulate monitoring rentals
Practical answers about selection, system configuration, data and mobilization.
Still planning the project?
Tell us the location, particulate fractions, start date, expected duration and reporting requirements.
What dust monitoring equipment can I rent?
Specto rents field-ready dust monitoring systems built around the Aeroqual Dust Sentry, plus the portable Aeroqual Ranger with a particulate sensor head. Systems can be configured with weather, power, connectivity, software and compatible project integrations.
How do I choose between the Dust Sentry and Ranger?
Use the Dust Sentry as the primary platform for connected outdoor project monitoring. The Ranger is the portable option for surveys, spot measurements and indoor air quality work. Specto helps select the instrument, particulate sensor and reporting setup for your project.
Which particulate fractions can the rental measure?
A Dust Sentry with the PCX configuration measures PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10 and TSP. The Ranger particulate configuration provides PM1, PM2.5, PMresp, PM10 and TSP. Tell us which fractions and methods your project requires.
SOFTWARE, DATA & REPORTING
Can I view data remotely and receive automated reports?
Connected Dust Sentry systems use Aeroqual Cloud for data access, status, alerts and reporting. OneView can add project dashboards, site contribution and automated daily reports. Ranger uses Wi-Fi or USB data transfer. The selected software and configuration determine the available outputs.
Can dust monitoring be combined with weather, noise or vibration?
Yes. Specto can configure compatible weather, noise and vibration monitoring alongside the dust system, with suitable power, communications and project data management. Camera and supplemental sampling requirements can also be discussed.
Can these instruments identify silica, metals or asbestos?
The optical instruments measure particulate concentrations; they do not directly identify silica, metals or asbestos. Those substances require an appropriate sampling and analytical method. Specto can discuss supplemental sampling equipment and the data workflow for the specified project method.
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS & MOBILIZATION
Can I rent monitoring equipment for Rule 1466, Rule 403 or TSCA PCB cleanup projects?
Specto can help select and configure monitoring equipment around the applicable project plan, required methods and reporting workflow. These are different monitoring contexts: confirm the required instrument configuration and any approval requirements for your site. Renting equipment alone does not establish compliance.
Can I rent a dust-only system for a CAMP or PAM project?
A Dust Sentry can support the particulate portion of a monitoring program. Where the plan also requires VOC or other gas measurements, additional equipment or an AQS 1 configuration may be needed. Share the monitoring plan so Specto can recommend a suitable configuration.
How quickly can the system be quoted and mobilized?
Most standard rental requests are quoted the same business day when the project information is available. Next-day shipment or local courier delivery is available for most projects, depending on request time, inventory, configuration and destination.
The project plan, required methods and equipment suitability must be reviewed for the application. Capabilities vary by monitor, integration and sampling configuration; the final rental configuration is confirmed in the quote.
